Here, I'm sharing the drafting for Yoke Frock. 

Let's get started... 

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

Printed Cotton Fabric 

Sewing Essentials

MEASUREMENTS:

1.Full length

2.Chest round

3.Waist round

4.Across shoulder

5.Waist length

 

METHOD FRONT PART:

1.      O-D = 1/4^th of chest

2.      O-B = which is 1/2  of across shoulder

3.      B-G = 1/4^th of chest

4.      BG=OD

5.      D-C across t 1/4^th chest +1.5”

6.      D-E = 2”

7.       Join CE with a slight curve

8.      Join U with a French curve

9.      O-I = 1/12^th of chest

10.  O-J = also equal to 1/12^th chest

11.  B-M = the shoulder drop is 3/4^th “

12.  Cut on the line, CE to make it as a separate panel.

BACK PART

1.OE=KL

2.OB = 1/2  across shoulder

3. O-K = 1.5 “broad

4. L-E = which is 1.5”

5.OP is 1”

6. Join CM with the French curve

7. Join IP with French

FLAIR

1.      UL=XJ  is full length – yoke length

2.      UX =LJ is chest /2 +2”

3.      UF =2”

CONSTRUCTION:

1.Cut the upper front panel on the fold

2.The lower front panel will be cut twice with the extended margin for the pleats

3. The back will be cut twice as it is a center-back opening

4. Join the side seams and finishes it with a French seam

5. Finish the armhole and neckline with shaped facing

6.Finish the hem  with a topstitch or blind hemming.
